BEING A PUPPY

|
It’s especially important for us to be good with kids. So we are. That’s because we are with people right from birth. Paul and Mille pick us up and talk to us, and they talk A LOT I tell you. I remember that first time I smelled them. It was very different from my Mom’s smell. They also bring in lots of those human kids to play with us. It’s a lot of fun, though it took a little time to get use to their loud noises and crazy looks.

We are pretty big already right from birth. Last Fall, Nazca had a big litter of puppies. When we are about 4 weeks old, Mille and Paul start feeding us even though we still get milk from our mother. She stays with us until we are at least 3 months old so that we can learn from her. Eating out of a dog dishes can be a little complicated at first, so Mille and Paul have to teach us.

We are weighed every second day from birth. I guess, this way they can see whether we all get enough food. The worst part is, they like to take these pictures while you are sitting there.

We live in a big pen where we can play a lot. It is really fun! We also spend at least couple of hours everyday with the people, so that they can get use to us -- I think.

As we get older, we run around at the house and check out all the cool stuff. Eventually, we even get to meet the grown up dogs. those big guys and gals can be pretty scary.
