 WEEK 0: PREPARATION

Date: October 13—December 21, 2003
Location: Ely, MN and Minneapolis, MN
Weather: Getting colder and colder...

Time is ticking away! With less than 60 days before team Arctic Transect 2004 heads out on the trail, it is really busy around here! Teachers are signing up, curriculum is being edited, sleds are being built, web pages are being developed, food is being tasted and gear is being tested. Both people and Polar Huskies are being tuned up. The entire crew behind Arctic Transect 2004 is working hard to get ready.

Our webmaster Charles catching some last minute sleep before the site launches on October 13, 2003

The expedition departs from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories December 15 when all educators and learners should prepare to participate in the Online Classroom here at PolarHusky.com.

The Online Classroom experience officially kicks off January 11, 2004. Watch out! Powerful Polar Huskies, enthusiastic students and a blustering Arctic are coming your way…

Make sure to check back often as the website is a work in progress, constantly being updated.
