Sámi soga lávlla
Sámi soga lávlla is a poem written by Isak Saba and originally published in 1906 in the magazine Sagai Muittalaegje.
It was given the status of an official national anthem at the Thirteenth Sámi Conference in Ăre, Sweden in 1986.
Arne Sörlie's composition for the anthem was officially approved at the Fifteenth Sámi Conference in Helsinki in 1992.

Mátkálažžii mánuheabit, Moonlight helps a traveler,
giđđodeaddji guovssahasat, - soaring borealis adds to joy.

goddi čuđiid, garrogávppiid, killing bands, cheating merchants,
viehkes vearre-vearroválddiid. wicked taxmen.
Dearvva dutnje, sitkes sohka! Hail, resilient Sámi!
Dearvva dutnje, ráfi ruohtas! Hail, the root and branch of peace!
Eai leat doarut dorrojuvvon, No wars flared
eai leat vieljain varat vardán and spilled the blood
sámi siivo soga sis. of Sápmi's clan.
Máttarádját mis leat dovle Our ancestors withstood

Vuostálastot, vieljat, miige Family members, again we must

jos fal gáhttet gollegielat, if we keep our golden language,
